As Christmas day is fast approaching, let's take a look back at a classic Hello Project Christmas song!
ZYX was a Hello Project unit formed in 2003. The group consisted of five Hello Project Kids and their mentor, former Morning Musume leader Yaguchi Mari.
A decade has passed since this single was released but you may recognise some of those little Hello Project Kids - Umeda Erika (former C-ute member), Yajima Maimi (C-ute leader), Shimizu Saki (Berryz Kobo leader), Tsugunaga Momoko (Berryz Kobo) and Murakami Megami (former C-ute member).
ZYX was essentially a training group for HP Kids and only released 2 singles in 2003 before Tsugunaga Momoko and Shimizu Saki debuted in Berryz Koubou. However, the unit was revived in 2009 under the name "ZYX-a" with Tsugunaga Momoko, Umeda Erika and 6 other HP members for Hello Project concert performances.
"Shiroi Tokyo" is a very cute, Christmas love song. The energetic video really showed the youthful appeal of the unit with their "babysitter" Yaguchi Mari. Most of all, it's amazing to see how much the Hello Pro Kids have grown!
