All Cat-lovers out there - pay attention! The music video for Shoko Nakagawa's new song " 9lives" has been unveiled!
The cat-themed title track is being used as a promotion for her new album, also titled "9lives". This will be the multi-talented Nakagawa's 4th original album and is set for release in Japan on April 2nd.
Shoko Nakagawa is known for her extensive career as a media personality - the 28 year old has worked as an actress, singer, TV presenter, model and manga illustrator. She made her musical debut back in 2006 with the single "Brilliant Dream" and has gone on to release a number of albums, original singles and collaborations.
Nakagawa is known for her love of "otaku" culture and also her love of pets! She is reported to have a large number of pets - including ten cats that live with her. Nakagawa is known for posting pictures of herself licking her cats and putting their ears in her mouth... although her new album cover doesn't feature that particular habit, it does show her posing with her elderly cat Mamitas.
The music video for '9lives" features a LOT of pictures of cats - and occasional moments where Shoko is singing!
If you love high-tension J-pop and looking at cute cats, this video is for you!
