The music video to S-mileage's new song "Ee ka!?" ("Got it?!") has been revealed!
The song is one half of their upcoming double A-side single, "Ee ka?!/Ii Yatsu", sue to be released on the 18th December in Japan.
"Ee ka!?" definitely is one of the "coolest" songs that the group have released - it has an edgy, dance-beat that is reminiscent of K-pop and it's also the first S-mileage single song to have a rap!
"Hot-pink and black miniskirt outfits" sound like a trashy disaster, but these costumes aren't as bad as I thought. Still sporting their trademark mini-skirt look, these outfits are a little bit more mature than any of their previous looks, and I think it's a sign that S-mileage are heading towards a new direction as the average age of the group increases.
The video is simple and there's a lot of focus on the dance shots, since the choreography is much more dynamic than their previous singles.
The chorus is very upbeat and coupled with the energetic rap sections, it makes for a really fast-paced song. This song is a good example of how to combine S-mileage's energetic cuteness with a slightly more edgy, mature style. And of course, no Hello Project song is complete without some Tsunku-rap... Enjoy...
