After yesterday's post featuring the MV for "Tokai no Hitorigurashi", we are follwing up with the MV for "Aitte Motto Zanshin" (Love is more original).
This is part of C-ute's latest double A-side single ("Tokai no Hitorigurashi/Aitte Motto Zanshin") which will be released 6/11/13/
This song definitley has a "strong and sexy" feel to it - the powerful electro-beat in the chorus and guitar instrumentals give it a cool edge. The vocals are classic C-ute - like "Tokai no Hitorigurashi"; this release really defines the group.
The MV also stands out - the "derelict warehouse" setting is a really cool backdrop (compared to a white-screen studio). There are a lot of variety of shots in this video, and it's nice to see individual members in different backdrops. Since the group has become increasingly popular lately, it seems like a lot more effort is being put in to C-ute's music videos to help them stand out.
For this song we see a different costume - this time everyone has a matching kawaii-military uniform. A miniskirt-camouflage outift with a peaked cap could have been a disaster - however the monochrome, white details, and dramatic shoulder-pads add elegance, so this costume has turned out nice... and of course C-ute can pretty much make anything look great.
The dance shots add a lot of energy to the MV and the choreography really suits the sexy atmosphere of the song. C-ute are reknowned for dancing ability, and the choreography is definitley a stand-out for this song.
Overall, this double-A side release looks like another success for C-ute.
